The examination
The OIIQ’s professional examination aims to determine if the candidates possess the necessary skills to resolve clinical situations similar to those encountered by a nurse at entry-to-practice, that is:
- Knowledge
- Skills
- Judgment
The professional examination is used to assess the integration and application of appropriate knowledge pertaining to precise clinical situations.
A written exam
It is a written exam that includes 30 to 45 clinical situations, each with 2 to 5 questions, for a total of 115 to 125 multiple-choice questions.
For its part, Priima is an online consolidation program that includes 64 clinical situations designed to put your skills to the test, 4 of which are offered in interactive mode for an even more immersive experience. The program also includes an exam simulation similar to the OIIQ exam, with more than 350 questions, mostly multiple-choice.
